On the top most layer of cells, a groove will form. The cells will fold up and round to make a hollow tube called neural tube. Now this will form the baby’s brain and spinal cord. The tube has two parts i.e. a head and a tail end. The heart is also forming and your baby has some blood vessels. These blood vessels will connect your baby with you by forming strings. This will become umbilical cord. Umbilical cord is baby’s lifeline and a connection between you and your baby.
